Client story and review analysis
Coastal Debt Resolve Reviews: DJ&D Professional Services’ Story
A real client interview: Cleaning services business experience.
The business needed money to pay employees. The cushion ran out, and the weekly payments became the next problem. Trudy’s interview tells the story of that pressure, and why a reduced payment felt like a weight lifted.
The temporary cushion did not last
Trudy says the business had slowed and she needed funding for employee payments. She describes taking an MCA, using the cushion and then struggling with the weekly obligations that followed.
Support while the work continued
After responding to a Coastal email, she describes a professional, hands on team and new payment arrangements. She credits Angie with listening and helping her through difficult moments. She says the payment reduction was a major relief, while also acknowledging sleepless nights and that the process was not easy. At the time of the interview, she was almost done, not already finished.

00:04 Hello. My name is Trudy Holiday. I acquired my first loan because the business had gotten a little slow. My funds were low. I needed to pay my employees. So, I stumbled up on this MCA loan.
00:22 So, I had a little cushion. The cushion ran out. And then the tipping point for me was when I couldn't pay those weekly payments of uh $1,200, $1,500, $2,000. That just about took me out.
00:40 So, I had to struggle to try to pay these loans back. Well, I answered an email that I had received, and it was from Coastal Debt. I listened to everything that was said. And my first impression was, "Okay.
01:03 I'm going to do this. I'm I'm going to deal with this company." Uh the team that I was working with uh was an excellent group of people. Um they seemed to know what they were doing.
01:15 Very professional, very um hands on. Um And got we got to the bottom of things or they got to the bottom of things expeditiously. I should say. And got payment arrangements set up for me.
01:30 And uh we've been moving full speed ahead ever since. Um and I really would like to give a shout out to Miss Angie because she has been a godsend to me. She has worked with me.
01:44 She's heard me cry, moan, and everything. But Miss Angie has been right there to help me through this. And I am almost done. I am almost over the hump with these loans. Now, I would say the biggest weight lifted off of me was the reduction in the payment.
02:11 That was one of the biggest things that um that kept me going. Things will be back on track by the end of the summer. It is not easy. Take it from me. I have had many many many many sleepless nights and many headaches.
02:36 But I want to thank Coastal Debt for coming to my rescue.
The lesson to explore
A story can be encouraging while still showing the work involved. Ask how payments, communication and remaining obligations would be tracked over time, including what happens if your circumstances change.
Reported details and interview status
The speaker mentions weekly amounts of $1,200, $1,500 and $2,000 in describing her difficulty. They are not a verified single total or a reported net savings figure.
Take the next question from the story
Use this experience to identify the questions you would want answered about your own situation. The interview is one client’s account; it does not determine another business’s outcome.
