The client’s words
“I wanted to grow my business”
This excerpt is from the supplied interview. The complete transcript on the original review provides its surrounding context.
Put the growth goal beside the proposed obligations
Record what the business hopes to achieve and what the agreement would require. Ask which assumptions connect the two. A growth ambition does not itself establish the amount or timing of future receipts. Keep expected income separate from money already available.
Questions for the growth discussion
- What would the funding support?
- When is related income expected, and how certain is it?
- What commitments would exist if that income arrived later?
Keep the answers connected to the actual records and circumstances being discussed. Where an answer is uncertain, mark it as a question to clarify rather than supplying an assumption.

The speaker’s account explains how his own position changed. Use it to prepare a discussion, rather than as a conclusion about whether another growth plan will work.
